Register your Danish CPR number with the Faculty

The Faculty will not receive any information about your new official Danish CPR number from the Danish authorities. You must yourself contact the Faculty and request that your pseudo-personal registration number be updated to your official Danish CPR number.

It is important to inform the Faculty of your official Danish CPR number as soon as possible - especially if you plan to apply for SU. Furthermore, your Danish CPR number will appear from your diploma, if you have registered this with Faculty. Otherwise, your diploma will be issued carrying your pseudo-personal registration number.

In addition, any future change of address will be automatically registered in our study administrative system if you update your pseudo-personal registration number to your official Danish CPR number.

How to register your official Danish CPR number

All you need to do is to go to your degree programme’s website on KUnet, click on ‘Forms’ and then click on the form named ‘Replace ‘pseudu number’ with Danish civil registration number.

Fill in the form, upload the required documentation (copy of photo ID (e.g. passport) and copy of your yellow health card (or other form of official documentation) with your state civil registration number (CPR) and simply click submit.

Once the Faculty has registered your official Danish CPR number in our study administrative system, you will receive a confirmation e-mail to this effect.

If you have any questions or need additional advice on registering your CPR with the Faculty, please contact the Student Information Desk at studentinfo@samf.ku.dk.
