Infection status at the Faculty of Social Sciences

22 November

We have received an approach from another student at the Department of Political Science (3. semester, team 2). The team has been sent home. There is additionally another case of COVID-19 at the Department of Political Science (5. semester, team 2). The team has been informed and sent home.

20 November

We have been informed of a case of COVID-19 infection at the Department of Political Science. The concerned student is studying Contemporary Political Theory and Democratic Challenges at the Master’s Degree. The relevant fellow students have been sent home, because the distance requirements have not been met in class.

19 November

We have been informed of two cases of COVID-19 infection on November 19. One case at the Department of Political Science (3. semester, team 2), and one case at the Department of Economics (5. semester, team 1). In both cases, the teams have been sent home, because the distance requirements have not been met in class.

18 November

We have received more approaches about contamination at the Department of Economics, 3. semester team 9. In total, there are four infected students at the team. Furthermore, we have sent team 6 at 3. semester at the Department of Economics home, because of a reported case of COVID-19 infection among the students.

17 November

An educator has been found infected with COVID-19 at the Department of Sociology. The concerned educator has not been in close contact with colleagues or students.

16 November

We have two new cases of COVID-19 infection at the Department of Economics: One at 3. semester team 9, and one at 1. semester team 11. In both cases the students have been sent home, because the distance requirements have not been met.

14 November

We have received an approach from yet another student at team 7 at the Department of Psychology. The team has been sent home. Furthermore, there has been one case of infection at the Department of Political Science (1. semester, team 3). The team has been notified and sent home.

13 November

We have been informed with two new cases of COVID-19 infection at November 13. One at the Department of Psychology (team 7, first semester of the Master’s degree), and one at Social Data Science (1. semester). In both cases the students have been sent home, because the distance requirements have not been met.

In the latest couple of days, we have received three approaches about infections among students on first semester at the Department of Sociology. The students were infected at social gatherings – not on campus. To avoid contamination at campus, the whole class of the first semester at the Department of Sociology will be lectured online in the following week.

12 November

On November 12, we have been informed of two cases of COVID-19 infection. One case at the Department of Economics (first semester, team 9), and one case at the Department of Psychology (first semester). At the Department of Economics, we have sent the respective team home. At the Department of Psychology, the student has only participated in classes where the distance requirements have been met, and therefore there has been no reason to send home students.

9 November

We have been informed of a case of COVID-19 infection on November 9 at the Department of Psychology (first semester of the Master’s degree, team 7).  In accordance with the health authorities' guidelines, we have sent the team home. They have been asked to self-isolate and be tested as soon as possible. There will be taken care of the concerned and those they might have brought in danger of infection.

8 November

On 8 November we have been informed of a case of COVID-19 infection among students at the Department of Economics (first semester, team 3). In accordance with the health authorities' guidelines, we have sent the team home. They have been asked to self isolate and be tested as soon as possible.

7 November

We have been informed of a case of COVID-19 infection on 7 November among students at the Department of Political Science (seventh semester). The student has only participated in classes where the distance requirements have been met, and therefore there has been no reason to send home students.

6 November

We have been informed of two new cases of COVID-19 infection among students on 6 November. One case at the Department of Political Science (seventh semester) and one case at the Department of Economics (first semester).
In both cases, the period between presence at campus and the positive test is so long that we have found it unnecessary to send the students home.

5 November

On 5 November, we have been informed of a case of COVID-19 infection among students at the Department of Anthropology (seventh semester, team 1). In accordance with the health authorities' guidelines, we have sent the team home. They have been asked to self isolate and be tested as soon as possible. Everyone that may have been exposed for infection has been taken care of.

At the Department of Psychology a lecturer has been infected by COVID-19 on 5 November.
The department staff has been informed of the situation and relevant students have also been informed and send home to be tested.

4 November

We have been informed of a case of COVID-19 infection on 4 November at the Department of Sociology (first semester).
The student has not participated in any classes since 26 October. As the period between the presence at campus and the positive test is so long, we have not found it necessary to send home the students from the fixed team.
