Student Counselling and Career Guidance Services

You can contact your student counselling service with all sorts of enquiries - large and small - be it academic, social, practical or personal matters.

Below, you find information on the various ways that you can contact us.

Please note that any changes in our opening hours will be published here.

 

Our phones are open in the morning, where you can talk to a student counsellor in 10 to 15 minutes about anything and everything.

During our drop-in sessions in the afternoon, you can talk to a student counsellor in person for 5 to 10 minutes at CSS in room 5.1.46. We provide guidance on:

  • Courses and exams
  • Simple questions about study plannin
  • Pre-approval of courses and credit transfer
  • Simple questions about exchange stays
  • Miscellaneous short questions

You are welcome to book a meeting if you would like to have a longer conversation of 25 minutes with a student counsellor. Booked meetings are earmarked for:

  • Planning your studies
  • Illness, leave of absence and dispensation
  • Doubts about your study
  • Your well-being

You can book a meeting via KUnet > Your study site > Contact > Student Advisory Service at your programme: book a guidance session​.

NB: Time slots are regularly released and made available in our booking system. If there are no vacant time slots, please try again later. If you are in urgent need of guidance, you can call us when our phones are open or come see us during a drop-in session.
