Seminar: Plant-Based Canteen Food and Consumer Acceptance

Canteen

Are you interested in green canteens, consumer behavior, and the transition towards a more plant-based diet? Then, join us for a professional discussion about plant-based canteen meals at the University of Copenhagen, the transition to sustainable canteens, and consumers' use of canteens. The Green Solutions Centre has a data set available for researchers and students.

The University of Copenhagen is currently discussing a new meal strategy, and the university canteens are moving towards more environmentally friendly food. However, the canteens also face challenges following the pandemic and inflation. At the same time, not everyone is excited about the prospect of, for example, less meat in the canteens.

The Green Solutions Centre at the University of Copenhagen has followed the process and has researched the development in canteen usage and reactions to the shift towards plant-based food. We would like to share the knowledge and data from these projects with researchers and students.

Come and learn more about the data set through presentations and debate – it takes place on April 25th from 13:30 to 14:45 in the Marmorhallen, Thorvaldsensvej 40
