EliteForsk travel scholarship to research talent from the Department of Political Science

Rune Møller Stahl

Rune Møller Stahl, who is a PhD student at the Department of Political Science, is 32 years old and specializes in international political economics. He has been awarded an EliteForsk travel scholarship to further his PhD project within political economics and the history of economic ideas. The project sheds light on the impact of the Economics profession and economic theory on the liberalization of the economic policy that we have experienced since the 1970ties. The project is a comparative study between Denmark and Great Britain.

Rune Møller Stahl holds an MSc in Economic History from London School of Economics, an MSc degree in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen, and a BA degree in History of Ideas and Sociology from the Aarhus University. Before starting his research career, he worked as a political advisor at Christiansborg (the seat of the Danish Parliament).

Young researchers showered with grants

5 EliteForsk awards and 20 travel scholarships, the latter for each DKK 200,000, were presented at the conference. The travel scholarships are awarded to talented young PhD students who have already made a mark in their respective fields of research.
