Research at the Faculty of Social Sciences serves a number of purposes: creating and sharing new knowledge, supporting teaching, and providing society with new tools and processes. The Faculty of Social Sciences also understands the necessity of seeking new professional challenges in order to keep up with the demands of the global community.
One of the Faculty's primary goals is to continuously develop its research areas, programmes and environments in order to be able to attract highly qualified national and international researchers and to satisfy society's need for qualified research in the social sciences - also in the future.
