Research impact
Knowledge based on research is a cornerstone of a modern society. For centuries, the Faculty of Social Sciences has contributed to society, companies, the political system and public institutions through education, learning and research at the highest international levels.
Among other things, research in the social sciences provides knowledge, innovation and new ideas to how we face specific challenges in society and how we best develop the state, our labour market and municipal government etc. to create prosperity and improve quality of life.
When society embraces new research findings and for instance incorporates them into national legislation – you talk about research impact.
