Section for research, development and communication - object and duties

The main duties of the section is:

  • Outreach work in relation to foundations and development of plans for research applications within SOCIAL SCIENCE's strategic focus areas,
  • The faculty's focus on continuing and further education,
  • Planning of events
  • Knowledge exchange with the outside world
  • Internal and external communication, including web, KUnet, newsletter, press enquiries, news and social media
  • Management support and counselling of the faculty's Dean's Office (dean, vice-dean and faculty director)
  • Secretarial assistance for a number of management and co-operation forums, including Dean's Council meetings, the
  • Faculty's Management Team, Academic Council, Administrator Forum and the SAMF Research Ethics Committee as well as other committees on an ad hoc basis
  • Consultations and nominations for councils, boards and committees, awards and positions of trust
  • Implementation of and follow-up on UCPH's strategy and the faculty's target plan
  • Legal assistance in relation to contracts, agreements, access to documents, GDPR, etc.
